Hello, everyone! I am really enjoying being a member of Fine Art America. This is most definitely one of the nicest online sites I have discovered so far for photographers and artists.

The flower photo in this blog is the one that really got me interested in nature photography. I took it a couple of years ago shortly after my retirement when I was walking in the park one day. When I looked at it, I was so pleased by the beauty I had captured of this tiny, pink azalea bloom that, on camera, appears as big as life itself. Two years ago, I had no idea that I would be having one of the thrills of a lifetime, photographing God's awesome and beautiful, natural creation and sharing my pictures with so many other people who truly enjoy them as much as I do.
